What's A Particulate & Why Should You Care?
Particulates are liquid or solid particles temporarily suspended in the air
you breathe. These can be dust, pollen, mold, fungi, insect debris and much more.
98% of all indoor air particles are less than 1 micron, a metric measurement.
To give you an idea of how very small a micron is, there are over 25,400 microns
in one inch. Obviously anything less than 1 micron is not visible to the naked
eye, so you can't see particulates floating around inside your house. But just
because you can't see them doesn't mean that won't make you sick.
What you want scrubbing the air inside your house isn't a room-sized "super filter,"
"room filter," or "ion box." You want an indoor air quality device engineered
to reduce (and in many cases eliminate) the indoor air particulates and pollutants
inside your home...no matter how miniscule they are.
